Popper design pitää sisällään monen upean asian kokonaisuuden. Jyväskylän keskustassa, Kilpisenkatu 9 on oma työhuone, jossa kaikki tuotteet piirretään, maalataan ja ommellaan. Putiikki myy valmiit tuotteet, jälleenmyyjien lisäksi. Täydennyksenä on hyvä valikoima käsityöläisten ja taiteilijoiden designia. 2. kerroksen galleriassa vaihtuu näyttelyt kuukausittain, esillä taidetta, taidekäsityötä ja muuta luovaa osaamista.
Welcome to the world of Popper
Popper Design keeps inside a wonderful array of elements. Located at Kilpisenkatu 9 in the center of Jyväskylä, the studio is where every product is sketched, painted, and sewn. The boutique sells the finished products directly to customers, alongside sales through retailers. The selection is complemented by a fine range of designs from various artisans and artists. The second-floor gallery hosts monthly rotating exhibitions featuring art, artistic crafts, and other creative work.

Olen taidekäsityöläinen Jyväskylästä, Popperin sielu. Vaihdan sujuvasti tekniikkaa tekstiilien, keramiikan ja maalaustaiteen välillä. Jokainen materiaali on vuosien saatossa saanut hyvin persoonallisen tunnistettavan käden jäljen. Teemoina vaihtelevat luontoaiheet, kasvit ja eläimet, joita ilmennän naivistisella otteella ajatuksella että kaikki ei ole niin vakavaa, vaikka moni asia tärkeää.
I am an artisan from Jyväskylä and the soul of Popper. I fluidly switch between techniques—working with textiles, ceramics, and painting. Over the years, each material has acquired a highly personal and recognizable signature style. My themes range from nature motifs—such as plants and animals—to other subjects, all expressed with a naive touch and the philosophy that while many things are important, not everything has to be so serious.

PUTIIKKI
Putiikki myy koko Popperin tuotevalikoimaa suoraan hyllystä. Putiikin tuotteita täydentää muiden käsityöläisten ja taiteilijoiden pientuotteet. On koruja usealta tekijältä, saippuaa, kynttilöitä, käyttökeramiikka, kortteja ja taidetta usealla tekniikalla ja materiaaleista.
BOUTIQUE
The boutique sells Popper’s entire product range directly from the shelves. The selection is complemented by small-scale products from other artisans and artists, including jewelry from various makers, soaps, candles, functional ceramics, cards, and art created using a variety of techniques and materials.

TYÖHUONE
Popper tuotteiden valmistus tapahtuu samassa osoitteessa Kilpisenkatu 9:ssä. Kellarikerroksessa löytyy juuri sopivat tilat kankaiden piirtämiseen ja maalaamiseen. Ompelutyöt tehdään putiikin takahuoneessa. Eli todella lähituotantoa.
WORKROOM
Popper products are manufactured at the same address: Kilpisenkatu 9. The basement level offers the perfect space for sketching and painting on fabric. Sewing takes place in the shop’s back room. In short: truly local production.

TILAUSTYÖT
Popperissa on tehty alusta saakka tilaustöitä kaikista valikoimissa olevista tuotteista. Esimerkiksi tyynyliinaan voi tilata haluamansa kuvan ja tekstin, seinävaatteet ja -taulut toteutetaan oikean kokoisena ja kuvioilla, että sopivat oman kodin sisustukseen. Tilaustöiden toimitusaika riippuu aina jonossa olevien töiden määrästä, mutta yleensä noin 2-3 viikkoa. Yhteyden saa sähköpostitse.
CUSTOM ORDERS
From the very beginning, Popper has offered custom orders for all products in the range. For instance, you can order a pillowcase featuring a specific image and text, or have wall hangings and art pieces created in the exact size and pattern to match your home décor. Delivery times for custom orders depend on the current workload but generally take about 2–3 weeks. You can get in touch via email.
